HerdFlo Privacy Policy

Effective June 5, 2026

HerdFlo ("we") is a livestock gestation calculator and herd record-keeping service operated by FarmsFlo.

What we collect

Calculator (no account): nothing. The calculator runs on your device and works offline. We collect no personal information from calculator use.

My Herd accounts: your email address, a password (stored only as a salted bcrypt hash — we cannot read it), and the herd records you create: animal names, tags, breeds, breeding dates, weights, treatments, pasture moves, and any photos you upload.

Payments: HerdFlo Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe on our website. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

How we use it

Solely to run the service: storing your records, syncing them across your devices, computing due dates, and managing your subscription. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers. We show no ads.

Photos

Animal photos you upload are stored privately under unguessable URLs and are only reachable through your account. They are deleted when you delete the animal or your account.

Cookies & similar

A session token in your browser's local storage keeps you signed in. If you arrive through a referral link, a 30-day cookie credits the person who referred you. No tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

Export your records anytime (CSV, built in). Delete your account and all its data instantly from the app (My Herd → Account → Delete account) or at herd.farmsflo.com/delete-account.html. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and cancels any active subscription.

Children

HerdFlo is intended for users 13 and older and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
